AAS-in-Asia Attendee Trial Membership


In recognition of the important Asian Studies work taking place in Asia, the AAS offers a free six-month Trial Membership to all Asia-based attendees of the AAS-in-Asia conference who are not current members.

Simply:

  • Log into or create your profile at members.asianstudies.org
  • Navigate to Membership tab on top menu and select “Purchase a new membership”
  • Select “AAS-in-Asia Attendee Trial Membership” and add to cart
  • Upload your AAS-in-Asia registration receipt
  • Submit your order and wait for approval

Following approval, this membership grants access to our 6,000+ member network, the Journal of Asian Studies (online), and member-exclusive discounts and communications.

AAS-in-Asia Attendee Trial Membership will be available on July 9, the first day of AAS-in-Asia Conference.

Conditions: AAS-in-Asia Attendee Trial Members must be resident in Asia. Eligibility is limited to AAS-in-Asia attendees who are not currently (or recently lapsed) AAS members. AAS-in-Asia Attendee Trial Members are not eligible for AAS grants, the AAS Annual Conference member registration rate, or to run or vote in AAS elections. Approval of membership by AAS Membership Manager required.

The AAS Secretariat is closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 in observance of the Independence Day holiday
